Gradings at BDB Kickboxing are challenging by design. Every belt is earned through dedication, correct technique, fitness and discipline.
Students are assessed by a panel of instructors on their syllabus knowledge, fitness and overall performance.
GRADING INFO
What to expect
We make gradings challenging so every student can be proud of earning their next belt. Higher-belt gradings take longer and become more demanding.
Please arrive early in full club uniform with your current belt and be ready to warm up. After signing in, you will be assessed on the syllabus for your belt level. This may include punches, kicks, self-defence, escape releases, weapon defence, kata, sparring, bag work and fitness.
Your WUMA licence must be valid on the grading date. If it has expired, you will not be able to grade.

Gradings are recorded in each student's Code Plus book.

Yellow belt - £35
Orange belt - £40
Green belt - £45
Blue belt - £45
Purple belt - £50
Brown belt 1st tag - £60

Black belt 1st dan - £70
Black belt 2nd dan - £75
